In spring 2008, the release of our album seemed far away and almost unrealistic. The material was there, but we didn’t know where, how, and what to record, nor what to do with it all afterwards. But then Edgars Šubrovskis from Hospitāļu iela came with the right ideas just in time – and also his help later with the production was indispensable.
Another positive influence was Gatis Gaujenieks, sound editor at the studio “GEM”, whose sharp ear and vision helped to define the sound. The recording happened in autumn 2008 (except the song “Sit, kod, dzer”, which was recorded at Armand’s Treilihs’ in autumn 2007).
Under the title “Koncerts kultūras namā”, our album is now available in both physical and electronic form (thanks to the cooperation of “HI”, Mobilly, and the support of the bar I Love You). The electronic version can be downloaded for free, just subscribe to our newsletter.
